The Watchmaker

I came across this great little kids video called The Watchmaker about life and creation (via Patrick). I think my Christian readers will get a kick out of it. Turn on your speakers.

Jen, thanks for the link and the kind words. The video ought to give secularists a little food for thought as well. Everyone should watch it.

This video is beautifully produced but I would not expose children to it. It is made for creationist purposes and shows a complete lack of understanding of how random processes are actually thought to operate in evolution.

    Kiwi:

Yes. It’s a well done piece for reducing a complex subject down to a simplistic misunderstanding.

I’m not a fan of exposing religion to small children who can’t think for themselves.

Whenever I have kids, I’m not going to mention atheism or theism until they’re old enough to make their own decisions. And if they learn about it somewhere else, I’ll have them research it, and believe what they want.

Thanks, Jen. I’m going to send this to as many families as I can.

    🙂
