Faith & Family Conference: Stoneham, MA

I just got everything set to go to the first-ever Faith & Family Mom’s Day Away! It’s on April 2 in Stoneham, MA, and is a chance for Faith & Family readers to get to know one another and enjoy a day of refreshment and relaxation. I’ll be speaking, along with Danielle Bean and Rachel Balducci. Other bloggers you may know who are attending include Simcha Fisher, Hallie Lord,  Rebecca Teti,  Melanie Bettinelli,  Lisa Mladinich, Kate Wicker,  Pat Gohn, and Dorian Speed. (They say it’s a women-only event, though there are already rumblings about an unofficial men’s event taking place somewhere nearby.)

Behold Conference: Washington, IL

Just a reminder that I’m also speaking at the Behold Conference in Washington, IL on March 5. I can’t tell you how much love and care the organizers have put into this event! They’re going to have Mass, Adoration and Confession as well as goody bags and vendor tables, one of which will be a Fertility Care/NFP provider. The Sisters of Life are also speaking, and there will be live music by Marie Miller. If you live in the area, be sure not to miss this day of spiritual rejuvenation and refreshment!

This stuff makes me giddy. I am so thrilled that you are out there, being salt and light!
And, I can’t wait to hear the blog posts that will follow each event. Hooray!!

Maybe you’ll be able to meet Father Mario at the Stoneham event. He was at my parish for a decade prior, he has a very large and unique personality.

I Soooo wish I could get to the Mass. event!
Still having a nursing little guy makes it hard to go that far away…
We just have to make sure they do this again NEXT year!

sounds like so much fun- but what about us on the “left” coast?

Looking forward to seeing you at Behold!

That sounds fun!! Wish I could go!! By the way, I didn’t comment on your last post because I wasn’t sure I should since I wasn’t contributing, but I found it SO interesting!! And a little sad. So many of your commentators talked about the apathy or indifference to faith in their countries. Really makes me think…

Darn…I’m so bummed about the F&F conference! I’d love to go! But my org is putting on a women’s conference the same day! Good luck and have fun!

    Hi,
This may be a random place to comment (sorry!), but I wanted to share this in case some of your readers haven’t seen it. It is a link to a virtual visit to St Peter’s tomb beneath St Peter’s in Rome.

    Thanks! And hope you enjoy!

I will be spending the last weekend in March in Ocean City, MD, with my church’s HS group (my spring vacation–I can’t wait!) but these events sound wonderful. I hope to be able to meet you some other time. If you’re ever near NJ, please let me know.

Jennifer, how fun! I’m really envious you’ll be mingling with the Faith & Family gals. Please say Hi to Danielle and Kate for me!

Are you kidding me!?! You will be at a conference right in my own backyard… and I will be 39 weeks pregnant (and both my other kids were born a week early, so, doing the math…)!?! Arrghh.. it’s one of those things I wouldn’t miss for anything, except, well, you know… maybe being in labor.
