I created a Word of the Year generator just for you!

So you guys know that you can go to the Saint’s Name Generator to have a saint chosen at random for you to be your patron for the new year, right? I programmed that a few years ago and always have so much fun hearing which saints people get ever since.

Along those lines, I have a special new project to share: A Word of the Year Generator

My friends and I love to choose words to act as our theme for the year, but I always have trouble deciding which one to go with. As a gift to you for the New Year, I created a Word of the Year Generator that will choose an inspiring word for you at random!

Yes, coding in my love language.

Keep trying until you get one that feels right for you, and then tell me which word you chose on this Instagram post or this Facebook post.

(Joe suggested that I program it to include words like “superannuated” and “pulchritude” and “rad”. He does not understand the concept, though he now promises to create his own generator with “only awesome words.”)

Hope you enjoy!

Wow my word is hilarious! I got “Fertility”. It is funny because I had been dealing with infertility for almost 10 years and am now 13 weeks pregnant! My husband got “Connect” which is a challenge since he is an extreme introvert. We also picked a word for the baby and got “Sweet” which is absolutely perfect 🙂

Thank you so much for doing this!

During our interim time at my church, our pastor would give us a “star word” each year that was what God was telling us to focus on that year throughout our lives, during prayer and mediation. It’s been something I’ve missed since she’s been gone. (She was with us for over 4 years!) Luckily, I finally found you to randomly pick the word for me! (It was a lot harder than I thought it would be)
My word is ‘GRACE’ I cannot wait to see where this word takes me this year. And love it because it is the name of my church.

    Thank you again!
