Group Writing Project Final List: "Three things my parents did right"

October 12, 2007 | 7 comments

Here is the final list of all 36 entries to the group writing project. Honestly, every single one of them was so beautiful. Thank you so much to everyone who participated. I hope everyone enjoyed it, and I know that I discovered some great new blogs through this project, as I hope others did as well!

Answering the question: “What are three things your parents did right?”

You’re welcome to post this list of links on your own site, just please include a link back here. To get the HTML code, just view the source on this page and look out for the “start copying here” and “stop copying here” comments I included. Copy everything in between those comments.

And now for the winner, chosen at random (drumroll, please)…el-e-e at hello, self! Just email me to arrange getting your copy of my favorite CD ever, The Rosary is a Place.

This was so much fun that I’m definitely going to host one again soon. I even have a topic in mind that I’m really excited about (there are going to be some awesome posts written on this topic, I guarantee it!). So look out for the next Group Writing Project, probably one or two months from now.

And, finally, thank you to MamaBlogga and ProBlogger, where I first discovered the idea of group writing projects. Both are excellent blogs that are definitely worth checking out.

  1. Courageous Grace

Gratz to the winner! I really enjoyed this project, especially since it came at a very crucial time. Speaking of which my family and I appreciate the prayers and support for my mother. Turns out her stroke was caused by a benign brain tumor, and she’s on her way to a slow recovery and facing brain surgery sometime in the next couple of weeks.

I do look forward to participating in another group writing project, it’s a great idea.

  2. Colleen

Even though I know it is too late, I wanted to let you know that I just posted my attempt at the group writing project. And, I wanted to thank you for inspiring me to write it. I’ve spent the last week reflecting and choosing the three things my parents did right. It was an uplifting, emotional and healing experience. You gave us such a great topic! I look forward to the next group writing project!

  3. Tienne

I’ve definitely discovered some awesome new blogs through this, and enjoyed all the entries. Thanks for hosting!

  4. el-e-e

Oh my goodness, I’m so thrilled! Thanks! I will email you later today! 🙂

I have loved reading everyone’s entries; what a great “group project.”

  5. Kristen Laurence

Jen, this was such a wonderful topic, and I do hope you’ll do many more. I’m not finished reading all the entries, but those I’ve read are so inspiring. Thanks again!

  6. Seeker

I know I am too late to join in officially, but I thought I would mention that I have added my little contribution to this writing project onto my blog. You can find it by clicking here.

    Thanks for a wonderful idea.

  7. GoodVERNA20

Some time ago, I needed to buy a building for my corporation but I did not earn enough money and couldn’t purchase something. Thank heaven my brother proposed to get the business loans at banks. So, I did so and was satisfied with my student loan.
