I’ll be on EWTN this week
Remember that big deal I made a few months ago about finding Sasquach shoes for a TV taping? And how being at said taping led me to post a picture of me climbing out of the window of my car (which, humblingly, ended up being far more popular than anything else I’d written recently)? Anyway, the episode is airing this week on EWTN! Most cable providers carry the network, or you can watch EWTN live online here. I will be on the show The Choices We Face, which will air at the following times:
- Tuesday, July 19 at 6:00 PM Eastern
- Friday, Jule 22 at 6:30 AM Eastern
Spending time with the Renewal Ministries staff was a wonderful experience, and I’m looking forward to finally seeing the finished product of the episode we taped!

Congratulations! I will DVR the show just in case I cannot actually watch it. I’m looking forward to seeing the show. God Bless!
Can’t wait to see it!!!
Awesome–can’t wait to watch it! It looks like they’ve already posted the video of your interview here:

I will be watching! Or more like recording it as my three kids don’t allow for much TV watching during the day. π
Yay!!! Can’t wait to watch!
I’m looking forward to watching and seeing you “in person.” π
DVR to the rescue!!! Congrats Jennifer!
Still kicking myself that I didn’t pursue you for an autograph and Blogger Sighting when you were in town for the taping.
I trust that, by now, your driver’s door works. After all those web hits on the picture, perhaps a shame-faced carmaker approached you and offered to fix it for free.
However, it seems to me that your car-door adventures may have produced vocational fruits. As you may know, embarrassing your children is one of the two crucial functions** of a parent. So it’s important to consider that, by Duke-ing yourself out of the car, you were being faithful to your calling.
**The second crucial function is to equip the child with the skills to find a good therapist later in life to fix the things we did wrong.
I caught it this morning on what I like to call the Canadian EWTN, a station called “Salt and Light”. I just woke up and turned on the tv and when I saw you speaking I didn’t realize it was you right away! and then it hit me that it was Jen from conversion diary. It was a great program and I’m so glad I watched it, you made some great points! As I am a recent convert it was great to hear you talk about the process of learning and discovering Catholicism, I could absolutely relate!
Thanks, Kateryna! And that’s so cool that you saw it on Salt and Light — I didn’t realize it was airing there. Thanks for letting me know!
I’m so glad I’m at my parent’s cable-equipped house! I’m gonna go set the DVR now. Yay! That picture is hysterical, by the way.
Just watched it on video, Jen. My non-believing hubby watched too–he was very intrigued by what you had to say!
Is there a link to watch it online? Unfortunately I don’t get EWTN. π
see if this link works: http://www.renewalministries.net/?module=Events&class=Media&event=Show&mediaID=2
It’s a great interview.
I enjoyed the show. Even after reading your entire blog I still learned more. π
P.S. I know you think you have big feet, but they don’t look big on tv. I kept looking at them thinking, “they don’t look big.” π
Just watched it with my husband & we both thought you were brilliant!!! Wish EWTN would just give you your own show already! You were articulate , down-to-earth, and funny to boot. Loved the part about the purple wedding dress and 7 minute vows. Thank you for sharing your story!
Loved it! You were a natural! I would freeze in front of the camera and ramble. Nicely done and I hope is not the last time we” see” you on TV!
Thanks for the link to EWTN! (I hadn’t known that I could watch on the Internet.)
I saw the show and enjoyed it very much. Congratulations! You made it look so effortless.

Super cute outfit and really lovely interview. Your story is such a wonderful example of God finding his way to our hearts through the least expected avenues. He’s so good like that.
Just finished watching your wonderful sharing on Renewal Ministries site. I could not agree more when you said, ‘The Church has all the answers.’. All the questions indeed have been refuted by Catholic church. The sad thing is people don’t even ‘knock’ Him. You are indeed God’s instrument to reach non-believers in this world. Praise the Lord!
ha ha! Totally forgot your posts from months ago about the taping! The whole time I was watching you, I was thinking: “WOW, she IS a superwoman!! How does she do it? Birth a baby, tape a show looking so good (what? no I-had-a-baby-3-weeks-ago belly???), rested & relaxed …. AMAZING.” On top of that, you were a natural (luscious eye makeup, btw) on camera.
So grateful to hear your story — my family is full of wildly intelligent people who can’t make sense of my faith: especially my conversion to Roman Catholicism.
Love your blog! Sleep well and prosper π
Accident!
I saw you on EWTN and was captivated.
I have read some of your material and find it straight thinking, but have neglected the blog, as your picture there seems a bit too demure.
Your presentation, poise, openness and rapport on TV was what enticed me.
I even remembered the URL
Thanks.
Just watched this after taping it. Great job! And you looked lovely. I ordered the New Pentecost booklet. I belong to a non-denominational church with charismatic leanings and there’s been a lot of talk of an outpouring of the Holy Spirit, so I’m really interested to read this booklet. This is off-topic, but what do you think about and what does the Catholic church teach regarding spiritual gifts like speaking in tongues, etc?
I would freeze in front of the camera and ramble. βC.B. And you looked lovely.
I ordered the New Pentecost booklet. Thanks.
