Hi Jennifer, I was so happy to see that you picked The Prisoner by England Dan & John Ford Coley. To my knowledge, that song is about the suffering and imprisonment of Baha’u’llah, the Prophet Founder of the Baha’i Faith. It makes me very happy that you saw the similarities and kinship with Christian spirituality as well. I’m a Baha’i, as well as a follower of your blog, so I loved seeing this.
